First Production
The story of our brand started in a shop that Fahri Demirel and Melih Demirel kept in Kartal, Istanbul. With the first order we received, we produced wiper blade molds for Anadol. When this order was canceled, we started to print and sell wiper blades with the molds we had.

From Tire to Wiper
When wiper blade sales did not go as we had hoped, we changed our production and started to produce complete wipers.

Sinai İmalat A.S.
We established our parent company, Sinai İmalat A.S. we started production under the Silbak brand and two years later we registered and protected our brand.

From 1000 m² to 1800 m²
We opened our new factory in Maltepe on an area of 1000 m². One year later, we increased the size of our factory to 1800 m².

Tuyap Exhibition
We took our first big marketing step by participating in the fair in Taksim Tüyap. Within a few years, we made investments that enabled us to reach world standards in wiper blades and production.

From 1800 m² to 3000 m²
We opened our warehouse in Yedpa Trade Center to meet the needs of our customers faster. Immediately afterwards, we increased the factory area to 3000m².

Premium Wipers
We started production of our premium wipers.

Export Movement
Our export drive started with our large-scale orders. One year later, we realized the production of wipers in 1m size.

New Production Facilities
We laid the foundation of our new production facilities in Pendik, Istanbul. A year later, we started the production of banana-type wipers, which are now used in most modern vehicles.

Europe Sales
Our fountain wiper production started, and two years later, our exports to Europe began.

Our plastic and banana type rear wiper productions have started.

New Brand Identity
In our 50th anniversary year, to reflect our vision for the future, we renewed our Silbak logo, first designed in 1983, with Mehmet Gözetlik, one of Turkey's most influential brand designers.

21 Artists, 21 Posters
As part of the 50th Anniversary events, we realized the “Automobiles of Turkey 1972” project that brought 21 artists together. We transformed 1972 model vehicles into 21 posters.
